










Sarah Ann Houghton is a NYC-based comedian and educator. Once roasted by David Cross as being “an act everyone says you gotta see and then you immediately wish you hadn’t”, she took home the silver medal in Seth Herzog’s Sweet Summer Olympics at Chelsea Music Hall. Her one-woman show ‘Sex, Robots, & Mysterious Shadows’ sold out for its debut at the #SOLOCOM Festival in New York City. She wrote and directed Return to Office for the winning team of Bragging Rights NYC at The Players Theater.
Sarah Ann is an alum of UCB New York, the Washington Improv Theater DC, and Szkoła Impro Warsaw, Poland. Other credits include stand up and alt comedy acts throughout Asia, Europe, and North America.

Since 2017 serves as a contributing house director for The Peoples Improv Theater, with recurring credits for Old School Sketch Show and The 24 Hour Sketch Show. In 2020 served as head-writer and director for The Ruse Comedy (check out Facebook Live Shows).
Since 2018 contributes as writer/director for one of NYC’s longest running all-female sketch ensembles: The HERlarious Show produced by Rachel La Loca and featured at SoHo Playhouse, Triad Theater, and Caveat cabaret.
Produced and co-hosted SCRAPPED, a monthly sketch talk-show for comedy writers with guest credits from The Late Show, The Chris Gethard Show, Funny or Die, Comedy Central, NBC, and Disney. Its digital series of 1-minute scholarly reviews of viral videos from yesteryear was featured as Hot Comedy for Rizzle.Tv .
Created featured topical comedy content for #TheGoss Show in a segment called Words From A White Woman streamed live across The Litverse YouTube and Twitch channels.
Wrote and performed monthly sketches for Like Butter Comedy directed by JW Crump.
Manages education programs for various digital media and advertising services.
